Preparatory Course for TCMPB Registration (Chinese) – 1 Year Part Time
Course objectives:
The curriculum includes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theoretical subjects, clinical subjects and clinical practice. It provides a systematic subject review and clinical skills training for those who have qualified for but have yet to pass the Singapore TCM-Physicians Registration Examination (STRE), and have lost their eligibility due to exceeding the time limit or the maximum number of attempts. The curriculum will enable students to better master TCM basic theories and clinical diagnosis and treatment skills, improving their professional knowledge and practical skills in TCM. After students pass the required subject assessment examinations, they will receive a letter of completion issued by the Singapore College of TCM. With the letter of completion for this course and after review and approval by the Singapore Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), students may apply to retake the STRE. Upon passing the examination, they will qualify to become a registered TCM Practitioner.
Prerequisite of the course:
1. Holders of TCM qualifications recognized by the TCMPB.
2. Individuals who previously qualified for the STRE but have not passed the registration examination to date.
Qualification Certificate:
Upon completing all required subjects and clinical internships, achieving passing grades in all subjects, passing the final assessment examination, and meeting attendance requirements for both classes and clinical internship, after review and approval by the Examination Board, students will be awarded a Letter of Completion by the Singapore College of TCM.
